Critical Ops Gives Back

The Critical Ops Team has a passion for the communities in which we live and work. As a geographically dispersed organization, we're committed to opportunities to give back to the unique needs of our areas. From volunteering to community service to sitting on boards and committees, we strive to lend our time and talents. We are especially excited to support youth programs, as young people are the catalysts who drive future success. Take a look at some of the projects we've been working on!

NexGen Programs

Critical Ops teamed up with experts and leaders from across the country to provide two week-long camps in Washington. We were invited back to the beautiful Puget Sound for the second annual Tulalip Tribes Youth Preparedness Camp and had the honor of conducting the inaugural FEMA Region 10 Youth Preparedness Camp the week following. Over 65 youth leaders from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska participated in immersive, hands-on training to build skills, rehearse responses, and grow a culture of preparedness in their community. Each youth leader will take their knowledge to their communities to engage their family, friends, and neighbors in their efforts. Check out #youthprep on social media for more content and photos!

Our team designed and led the experience with support from countless volunteers including:

  • Tulalip Bay Fire Department
  • Everett Fire Department
  • Marysville Fire Deparment & Emergency Medical Services
  • Hope Dogs
  • Emergency Management Directors from Washington, Alaska, Idaho and Oregon
  • Washington National Guard
  • Disability Integration Specialists
  • Sound Credit Union.

Small Business Success

In 2017, Critical Ops was selected to participate in the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program. After the completion of the program, we have continued to be active with program alumni. We've created breakout groups that meet regularly to discuss concerns, share resources, and provide accountability. Chelsea was invited to serve as a mentor for prospective applicants at the launch of the extension program in Columbus, Ohio. We are grateful to be part of the expansion of such a wonderful program that gives small business owners the education and resources to grow! To take advantage of this excellent opportunity, visit

Empowering Women Entrepreneurs

Critical Ops is a woman-owned business, and as such we know the value in connecting with other business owners. We are members of the National Association for Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Cleveland. Chelsea lent her expertise to the program's Institute of Entrepreneurial Development by hosting a webinar on eliminating communication barriers to help optimize performance. The webinar is available to members on the NAWBO Institute website. She presented at this year's Women's Entrepreneurship Day (WED) on November 19th in Cleveland.
