What to Expect
This intensive course covers:
- LiDAR Fundamentals: End-to-end workflows, drone platforms, and real-world scanning missions.
- Field Deployment: Drone-based LiDAR with compliance and safety protocols.
- Data Processing: Workflows, formatting, and integration with BIM and CAD.
- Extended Reality (xR): RealityCapture and Unreal Engine for virtual modeling.
- Use Cases: Construction, infrastructure, risk management, and simulations (floodplains, landfills, lunar environments).
Participants will engage in guided field missions, xR modeling, and scenario-based exercises with industry professionals.
