MCSC Basic and Advanced Drone Course

The MCSC Basic and Advanced Drone Course, hosted by the Manitoba Construction Sector Council (MCSC), takes place from September 15-23, 2025 at 205-530 Kenaston Boulevard, Winnipeg, MB R3N 1Z4. This comprehensive program equips participants with technical skills to integrate drones into the construction sector, enhancing safety, efficiency, and sustainability. What to Expect

• Basic Drone Certification (Sep 15-19, 8:30 AM–4:00 PM): Learn CAR Part IX rules, Canadian AIM Concepts, risk and safety management systems, aircraft capabilities, mission types, and hands-on UAS operation. Prepares participants for the Transport Canada Basic Operations pilot certification exam.
• Advanced Drone Course (Sep 22-23, 8:30 AM–4:00 PM): An industry-driven capstone for career-focused individuals, covering flight theory, operational checklists, mission execution, payloads, data collection, interconnected technologies, and mentor-guided UAS maneuvers.

Attendees receive a Certificate of Completion from MCSC upon meeting attendance (80%) and grade (70%) requirements, with an optional Basic Operations pilot certification.
